A Moment in the Winter of Our Discontent

It's easy to complain. Life, especially lately, has been challenging at the best of times. During all of this chaos, from the pandemic to politics, I found a moment of serenity and peace, as I stared into the forest near my home. In the constant "discontent" of the time, there was that one moment that put everything into perspective. The scene demanded to be painted. The serenity itself demanded to be acknowledged.
