One of the paintings created with a generous grant from the Columbia Kootenay Cultural Alliance, the project was, "Sunday Drive Discoveries"; glorious views found on back roads here in the Kootenays. The full show was at Pynelogs Art Gallery Invermere B.C. in 2017.

My description of this painting was:

The signs were everywhere and made me nervous. What would someone do if they came upon me in their field with an easel and a load of supplies? Would they chase me away? Would they have guns? Rather than risk it, I plunked myself JUST outside their fence. I laughed, when speaking to a friend about the days' work, that "No Artist was harmed during the production of this painting."
