Ranch at the End of the Land

A ranch secluded in the Rocky Mountains of British Columbia, Canada. Every spring, when the snow has finally disappeared from the back roads, this is a favourite spot to drive to. I wonder about the people that live and work there in the winter; do they get lonely, or are they happiest in the quiet, watching the snow fall and hearing the wind in the trees?
