Water for Ancestral Fields (Noyan, Quebec)

Part of my Homesick Series, this is the Richelieu River near Noyan, Quebec where my ancestors settled in the late 1700s. The fertile farm fields that provided livelihoods for generations were irrigated by this water.

This is the best way I know to honour my family, many of whom now rest in this hallowed ground.
